Each page of screenplay describes approximately one minute of screen time.
"Verticality" - the speed with which the eyes zip down your page - is of primary concern.
For professional scriptwriter sand readers, the four line approach makes the most sense, since the action is far easier to follow and visualize.
While writers should put a minimum of description in their Action Lines, the action line should move the story forward.
Every object described must pay off later in the script.
You want your readers to be breaze through your script.
They really connect to is the dialogue and the interaction between the characters.
Scripts are an impressionist painting, not a photo.
They're broad strokes, not detailed descriptions.
The script is the blueprint, the movie is the building.
